Questions & Answers

Is everything really made by hand?

Yes. Every piece is made by an inheritor of the craft in their own workshop. No piece is machine-finished. Where a workshop uses a machine for the initial rough shaping, we say so on the product page.

How long until my order ships?

Most pieces leave the workshop within 5–7 working days. If a piece is out of stock or made to order, it can take longer — we will contact you after you order to explain the timing.

How can I pay?

We accept PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and American Express. All payments are processed through PayPal's card system. Your card is charged in US dollars at the time of order. We do not store your card details.

Do I have to pay customs duty?

Yes. Duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility. Where they apply, the amount is shown at checkout and settled by you.

What if customs holds my parcel?

We will send the documents you need — invoice, certificate of origin, material description — within one working day. We cannot pay duty on your behalf or clear the parcel ourselves. If the hold was caused by something on our side, we will arrange a replacement as soon as we can.

What if it arrives damaged?

Send us photographs within 7 days and we will replace it free of charge. There is no need to return the damaged piece.

Can I return an item?

Within 30 days of delivery, provided the piece is unused and in its original packaging. Return shipping and any handling costs are yours. Custom pieces cannot be returned. See our refund policy for the full terms.

Why does my piece look slightly different from the photo?

Because it is handmade. Colour, grain, weight and finish vary from piece to piece. Photographs are a guide, not a record of the exact item you will receive.

Do you supply shops?

Yes, in small quantities. Write to paulpeng1989@gmail.com with “Wholesale” in the subject line.
